Good Evening

The birds that were flying around last night disappeared into the night but luckily they were waiting for me this morning these have been sectioned off and wont train plus any that took a night out from the last 40 mile trainer will miss tomorrow if we train.

The rest today were kept in and were happy and content and eating well etc.

If i am happy with them in the morning were be back training tomorrow late morning midday going on the forecast.

Today was not fit to train anyway full cloud cover all day.

After tomorrow i can then access the situation for Hot Spot One.

confirmed they will be tossed at 12 from 40 miles today

INSANE, just exactly what good will a training toss do under the prevailing
circumstances ??????.

Surely the idea must be to lose as many as as possible.

i believe this is the case misty, they seem to be trying to loose as many as possible .......this is wrong, the way these birds are being thrown away , and there hasnt even been a hot spot race yet

Apparently David there has been good returns but the velocities prove it was not a real test from 40 miles, and cannot see it as being any use.

Also we should have a list of the pigeons left in the loft.

All those from returning from the last trainer should be still there if not in this one, including ours.

Lets see what happens on Sunday if we have a race.

very disheartened with the rpra one loft this year, both the yearling one and the yb one ........seems they have this couldnt care less attitude re the birds welfare .

I feel every fancier is entitled to know what happens to their pigeons if they either
have to be culled for injury etc; or die from disease.

There is far too little accountability involved.

Far too much responsibility for one person.

Would take no time to account for pigeons lost from the loft rather than from racing.

But think the loft manager is working in the dark with no help nor advice.

Insane not quite how I would describe the situation there etc Misty But then at times here I tend not to be as generous as you with my thoughts as such End of the story, while Jeremy is pussy footing around about going to 70 odds miles for his first race after about 25 five tosses. Local one here this weekend     is at 300 miles for their 2nd race apparently, after not even 20 tosses    .  

Cannot get round the Lap Top like you oldstrain.

Can you tell us where our two are at the present time.

Did they go to the trainer or left in the loft ????.

hi misty/lads .....well its a shame we have had to go private with our one loft views eh ....now our first bird arrived late last night the second bird and seems our best homed this morning first time she has nighted out are our birds being victimised because of our opinions something dont feel right here ,brothers and sisters are winning already this yb season in several lofts around the country flying north and south yet they dont seem to be performing at all with the rpra you just wonder whats happening with our birds eh

i just have a feeling the whole thing is a shambles this year .........all these short training tosses have been worthless, and then taking them 40 miles 3 days before the 1st hot spot seems crazy to me ........plus i think hundreds were lost for some reason even before training started , no, something has gone badly wrong this year, either with bops, illness or bad management .

Must say the OL scenario challenges more than ordinary fanciers racing

However, have uneasy feeling about the whole set up. including this first race.

totally different feel about this years one loft, compared to previous years ......it has a very un easy feeling about the whole thing for me .

other years ive been excited looking forward to the hot spots, but this year im just hoping we get them back ......or they manage to get to the hot spots .

i reckon other fanciers must be like us, and questioning how its going......

yes they do misty, i know some ask for loft numbers and proper name instead of a user name ...........but i think if we stick to the private section ive created, for posts about the one loft or any other topics we dont want outsiders to see, we should be ok.

the members who are in the private group are members we already know, or are in the one loft syndicate ........i am going to remove some members who do not come on any more or who have packed in with pigeons etc, just so its a small group of trusted members in it .

ive removed some members from the one loft private group, we only have 11 members who can read and post in it ........if ive left anyone out let me know .

Un-easy don't quite know why you should feel like that etc David they are just playing the same old tune once again I suggest, I'm   over & over like in previous years I suspect Just waiting down here       for the young birds to be finished & then the big announcement of another yearling type fiasco to follow for next year there with the left overs    .

In your own loft you can easily tell if a pigeon is right and often it takes some
far longer to recover than others, if you send them persistantly not at their best and they just scrape home you have no chance.

Should have missed the last trainer.
