hi all ive had me birds out training from 5 miles and there not flying round there just out and up and home and there just beating me home there still flying round as i get back .. is it time to step them up to next stop or should i just jump in with them and go to around 15 mile .. tonight

our 1st 3 chucks from 5 mile 1st day lost 4 2nd lost 10 3ed lost 4 11 left so sent them 25 mile 8 chucks lost 1

giving it another week yet before i start mine then it will be straight to ten miles
but they wount go any futher than 15 miles due to the hawks round here .

Phil if i was you i would train them twice a day from the 5 mile mark and if the youngbirds come out of the basket and straight home no messing about so when you get home they are all there well before you then i would move them to 8 miles and do the same until they are home before you then move them to 15 miles then 25 miles'

When at 25 miles and your pigeons are training well then move them on to 40 to 50 miles for a few times then move them back to 25 miles and keep them there once racing starts

Phil this is just an idear mate to help you

thanxs all i jumped them in to 14 miles and sent 28 and got 22 back in one hour and 4 mins ... my mate sent 23 and got 17 back ... so hopeing to see the rest back tuesday ... fingers crossed .... .
