Vaccination

All pigeons jabbed this morning, running late this year as vaccine was caught up in postie strike. Give them 10 days or so for to settle down then open up the nestboxes let them get on with things

No But then I have great trouble now remembering what I did yesterday here etc David .

sometimes i can be watching tv and adverts come on, and i forget what program i`m watching, or sometimes if im driving somewhere i suddenly think, where am i going .......

Forget names, where I have put items like my glasses and hearing aids panic at times, names cannot come to mind etc;

Not to mention wig and false teeth.

feel like that myself at the moment ,the wifes bedridden waiting for a home visit from the doctor ,alf is in bed in his room with flu/virus and me running around like a headless chicken with flu/virus having just got over covid must have picked something up on a school trip the other day

thanks misty but its gotten worse as the wife had a home visit off the doc and told to go to hospital,she is there now on morphine drip awaiting specialist consultation and will remain there overnight at least ,hopefully they can manage the pain enough for her to come home over the weekend ,appreciate yer thoughts though misty ...thankyou

just read this darren, sorry to hear you are all not too well .........i hope nicola is ok and they can help her with the pain etc , and she can be home as soon as possible , its not a nice place to be .

keep us informed, and let her know we are thinking of her .

sorry to read your sad news Darren hope all goes well for your wife and son

thanks lads ,looks like she will be in there for the weekend at least and probably moved to another hospital further out near my birthplace the other side of the city ,her condition has worsened this last month and x-ray say her degenerative disc has spread to both sides of the spine and there could be nerve damage...all we can do is manage it as it will not get better and a operation could make things even worse and not guarenteed to make any difference ,it will only go one way in the end yes david of course will let nicola know you are thinking of her ,thankyou

Well I can somehow understand all that etc David I'm   Brickie against a Plumber type bit of a non-contest factor scenario I suggest, on most building sites .

My thoughts here are also with you & your family there etc O/S. Nicola it appears fortunately is being attended to apparently thankfully, so I can but wish her all the best there as such. Half a million people down here now cannot even find a hospital bed here to somehow arrange their operations, to then hopefully maybe improve their quality of life scenario factor. Spin doctors down here talk about the Lucky Country factor load of utter crap here I'm especially when looking for a hospital type bed outcome, or even maybe a simple dry roof over one's head to sleep in many cases.
