Annual visit to opticians yesterday.
Thought as you can get according to adverts a pair for a few bob now lets go.
Need them for driving and only one eye working so have to be careful.
Said I wanted exactly the same frame.
Stopped making them but had a spare frame in the shop and could use them and the frame I had now could be used next year.
Frame £185. lens, darkening effect, anti blare when driving on a night etc;
Total £335.
Bit more than the adverts.
Regards.
335 pound mine are top of the range here also etc Misty & are all free thankfully, with a guarantee of a new pair every 2 years as such. Lucky chap Knackered. Do you have a free Health Service ?. Some mock ours but have nothing but praise for the attention I and my family have received over the years. Can remember my mum paying 3 pence for her and my father and a penny for myself and brothers and sisters each week to the doctor. Some people do not know when they are well off. Regards. |

| Problem with eyesight when you are getting on a bit you have to meet a certain conditions not applicable to younger people and often only issued on an annual basis which is always a worry, so it makes sense to do all you can to preserve what you have.
Would be lost without the car.
Regards.

Sorry to hear that George, know how I feel when I just get something in my eye, with only having sight in one eye always worried when driving so always keep the windows closed to avoid getting something in my eye. Would have a word with the optician George feel sure he/she could help. The hot weather does not help. Just hope matters improve George very soon. Regards. |

Of course you can George. Even if the pain has gone, there may be a problem that can be identified that causes the problem periodically. Be unwise not to see the doctor. Regards. |

| Just got the BHW.
96 pages, no Joes joke, no experts, no letters page, adverts spread throughout.
Not one real item of interest to the majority of fanciers..
Cannot see it doing the sport any favours.
Regards. |
