bough a pair of boots for the winter wide fitting come to-day little big so ask my son to get me some insoles be here to-morrow from amazon soon won't need shops

must admit I use Amazon most weeks, brilliant service from your armchair. Only time I'm not so keen is buying clothes or shoes, always prefer to try on first as it will be a pain to return stuff.
Wife doesn't know it yet but anything I get her for Christmas will be coming in an Amazon box.....

soon be   I thought many were here etc Misty Good friend this week down here, went to her local bank to withdraw $2000. Not a problem said they, but we have a new policy in place now here with giving you what you want as such, as our new policy is now to force everyone on- line so to speak when making a money type transaction. So we now I'm   can only give you your 2000 odd dollars as requested, in 20 dollar notes or if you prefer, 10     Customer service of the highest order I suggest .

they are trying to control our lives knackered, they want everything digital so they can shut your whole life down if they so wish .. if you do not do as you are told they will stop you being part of society .

then the real problems will begin when men cannot feed their families, there will be civil unrest, riots and the whole system will collapse .......

this is the governments plan, to create a one world government .... it can only be implemented once everything is destroyed as we know it, and rebuilt there way to take away our freedoms and rights, to make us slaves .

Hard to disagree with what you say David, I'm Always been a money type (cash in hand) man here when paying my bills, like many other millions are still by all accounts, if one simply washes away all the general spin put out by the powers that be these days, in their general pursuit now of power & control over us peasant types. Recently got an early Xmas present here from our phone/internet supplier, who we have been with for 20 odds years type thing if not longer. Bonus offer in some ways by their general speel. February the first next year here, no more cash payments on offer in anyway shape or form for long term type customers like myself when paying an account due & if you don't somehow like it you can simply go & suck eggs as such apparently, or maybe just communicate by smoke signals if one still has the skill factor of lighting a fire     by simply rubbing two sticks together  .

I always prefer a few quid in my pocket then when it's gone you know you've nowt left.

see the younger generation just use their mobile phone screens to buy a pair of shoelaces for example, without a care in the world. All just virtual money to them.

Sharing bank details with multiple providers every day, from parking the car to buying a sandwich, no wonder there's so much banking fraud.

I always have a few quid in my pocket barnie, you know better where you stand but paying utility bills etc; is not a real cash option, have always paid by direct debit and made sure the bank is covered for fraud etc; and you know the amount going out each month.

Never been overly concerned about money, but nice to have enough.

I always lived within my means.

Only time I was deeply concerned and heart broken when I had for totally unpredictable circumstances, sell my pigeons when they were a happy healthy and winning family built up over years.

Money they say is the root of all evil, maybe not too far off.

my wife recently got fined £60 for overstaying in a store car park by 7 minutes. we questioned it but big brother camera is all the evidence they needed. It clearly shows her loading the car but then going back in the store with our 5 yr old grandson who needed the loo, this took her the seven minutes over the allocated time. No common sense argument with the parking management company or store. Needless to say they won't get our custom ever again.

Wonder if the Law would allow all those whom do not stay the full time paid for to claim a refund ?.

dont pay it colin, unless its a council one ignore it ........... ive had a couple over the last few years probably 6 -7 years ago and simply just ignored them, i never even acknowledged their threats or demands , totally blanked them......... i got a few threatening letters but never payed them anything, if you have a driveway padlock the gates because they are not allowed to enter a locked area, if they clamp the car cut it off .....they are only allowed to visit your house so many times so under no circumstances open the door to them, they cannot force entry for a civil matter.

i actually got a letter last year asking for payment because the fine had been sold on the another agency, b ut because a fine/debt becomes statue barred after 6 years i just ignored them, plus if the debt is sold on to a collection agency that means they have bought your debt and its been cleared, they are just trying it on .

yes that was the route i would have taken david, but she panicked and paid immediately hoping i wouldnt find out. its a nightmare owning a car theses days, dont park here, dont park there, careful that's a bus lane £60 fine, one way systems springing up overnight, speed cameras hidden in the bushes, 20mph zones, suddenly your car is too old to enter certain towns and cities because of emissions, no loading or unloading in shopping centres, how crazy is that??

Yes But one must never forget Misty I suggest. China isn't quite like England or Australia (civilized) as an example. They are actually classed as a developing type country (requiring our help/sympathy & charity money, still) by those with the knowledge factor (supposably) & power these days & so different pollution type rules apply there even today. Which as many know & as dumb as many of us are unfortunately I'm & have somehow known for many years in our own way, is sadly a total load of dog sh*te as such I suggest.
