| mike staddon used malt vinegar to ,never bothered with it once i read that to have desired effect you would need so much vinegar that birds would not drink it ,its all about the ph levels in the water killing bad bacteria but apple cider vinegar given at low levels ie 5 mil per litre of water can act as a good prebiotic ,you should try it sometime oz |

Would have tried it as with all the other so called aids to win when I saw the swifts and other wild birds that cover thousands of miles a year waiting at the chemists shop. Think I crossed swords a few times with Staddon. Regards. |

The fact is that putting a load of products down a pigeons throat has resulted in the overall decline in their health now needing constant medication, left unmedicated very few would survive. A pigeon does not need any artificial aids to success, just a fancier who understands nature. The commercial boys have a field day with the gullible. Regards. |

| 10 mil for 2 litre david a tablespoon is 15 mil but syringe will be more accurate as spoon sizes vary ,just moisten the corn with it much easier |

Only thing I used was garlic, read 75 or more years ago the Roman soldiers had to eat a clove a day. It has all the properties necessary for good health and good immunity, think mix and matching all the things available a very bad mistake. If all the products available were any good why are so many pigeons ill and lost from a couple of miles down the road ?. Why do fanciers get YBS every year, in clinical lofts with all the latest fads involved ?. Regards. |

| its quite simple really, always bringing in new birds and treating pigeons to the hilt has an adverse effect if you bring in new stock every year you will never have a sound loft imo your just bringing in problems all the time ,to much treatment stiffles the immune system and ruins it,oh and the darkness has real implications in my humble opinion and is never worth it chasing yb results my best seasons with ybs were natural apart from puting the light on until 10pm once it had got dark it helped keep the wing for a few weeks more and was able to race competitively until the last race and win that darkness has alot to answer for you are messing with mother nature far too much imo |
