| i know its a bit early to think of pairing up yet, but have members got a date in mind for when they will be pairing up ......? im thinking of feb 5th. |

| will get them paird start o january thinking around then at the moment but it all goes with the weather if snow on ground i wont be pairing early |

| A big mate of mine used to alwayss pair up St valentines Feb 14th, it was also his birthday..no one raced pigeons better than him in this area, but that was up to the 80,s things have changed now. Back then 20 youngsters was all needed so that was early enough, now 80 isnt enough so with a limited loft of pigeons you wouldnt breed enough at that date, so its xmass week for me. |

| what im thinking tho is that ill pair up 5th feb, when ybs are 15 days old and cocks are driving again ill seperate all the hens and ybs into the yb section which means the cocks are on widowhood. |

| Everyone to there own, but if you want mature youngbirds for the main races then pair up mid december
