dont know ian, maybe he has inbred or line bred i havnt asked him....but i suppose when we say our birds are pure, none of really know anyway do we...... what actually is a pure breed ? all the modern trendy breeds are a combination of bloodlines anyway. |

your right ian, i read somewhere that if say for instance.......george buscheart introduced a pigeon into his lofts, it would autamatically become a buscheart. |

| thats right ian, and also when you read through these pedigrees it all could be made up....who knows if the parentage is correct as its the easiest thing to fake them isnt it ?
if i had a pair of birds with outstanding pedigrees, i could breed ybs off any old rubbish and say it came from the good ones couldnt i ....? have heard it said that a pedigree is only as good as the man who wrote it. |

| yes quite possible ian, altho i do have some birds with excellent pedigrees i do trust the man who they came off and he races the same blood, but at the end of the day he doesnt force their breeding down anyones throat and is a pure racing man and if they are no good they have to go regardless of pedigree.......on the other hand i also have some quality birds i had given this year which i have no pedigrees for, but i also trust the man who gave me them and know he has won well with them......so at the end of the day wether they have pedigrees or not its all down to how they perform either racing or breeding. |

| thats right david doesnt matter how well they are on paper if they are not perfoming either racing or breeding then they have to go |

thats right ian, if they are no good, they are no good simple as that..........the corn man where i sometimes go once got a pair of birds bought for him by his wife for a thousand pounds, they bred nothing and went in the bin.......... someone said to me this year, most pigeons are no good........and hes right they are mostly no good. |
