| two hawks flying over my lofts today i couldnt get them both together but they were sure big |

| looks like a buzzard from the pic
we have literally dozens of buzzards & red kites in the sky on/off all day long down here (luckily they dont bother the birds) unlike the occasion destructive visits of the sparrowhawk & perigrine which do so much damage |

| yeah they dont ever bother my birds they seem to go in the fields around me for rabits lol |

| havnt been troubled by sparrow hawks as much this year compared to last year.........cant be complacent tho, they can/have come out of nowhere in the past....keeping the pigeons in now for a while while they are moulting. |

yeah this time of year and the early part of the season is the times when most people are hit because the birds arnt as fit and agile as they are mid season (especially if you keep them in for most of the winter and then when you start to let them out again....BANG!! |

| if a hawk ever got this little baby i will be heart broken she my baby she sits on my shoulder when i in the loft and when i walking around the garden love that hen. |

| Just noticed something on the pic above wich i like , the wing tips is level with the tip of the tail. |

| No David i dont have a bird with that long wings, but know some good birds from a friend , who does fly very well. |

| niel, this year ive bred a blue hen which is very different from my usuall birds, its very short cast with broad shoulders and it also has a frill on its neck......hopefullt it might breed a good yb next season. |
