Some local nutter "Mr S" paid around $1700 each for two here just recently K     for those Raw Sablons etc at a auction. May if he is lucky win the equivalant of a bowl of fruit when he comes back to racing, if history repeats itself.

Interesting that a rauw sablon sold at a sale in the vpu rooms in melbourne and they sold for 1700 lol

nigel is held in high regard around these parts for his racing prowess he is a gentleman too atb with the birds

think the word line and not strain should maybe be used

just had a look in the BHW adverts all I see is direct from , on the lines off, and based on and that lets the buyer know if that's the bird he is looking for what I don't see is the word pure can someone show were a fancier said he had a pure strain it may well be I would like to read it

Your spot on I have always said it the best are a mix of anything that wins

The problem is everyone wants the fashion of a name here in this country but when you look at the Belguim flyers they are not interested in names, origin, just the type of winning the pigeon has done weather its Sprint, Middle or Long Distance racing

And that is were we lose sight of pigeon racing ????

Now one Family of birds that were a Strain was the "Dordins" ; You Strained your Back lifting the Boxes in to the car for a Toss ?lol Heavy Big Buggers they were ; Jim Biss sent them out to Australia very Early on ; some good one's came out of them tho .cheers

the Dordins were fantastic pigeons wish i still had mine
