| hi pigeon fler i have a system by nigel cowood, some of it is interesting enough but i wouldnt pay for it like some have done.........i think its best to work your own system out by listening to successful flyers and making your own mind up from which of the info suits your self and your birds,
i usually start off when settling ybs by feeding an oz per bird, once they are training and racing they are on an ounce and a quarter per bird, 50/50 super diet and widowhood. |

| hi p/flyer, im afraid some of the learning is trial and error......it could be said ive wasted a couple of seasons in the past but this year ive finally learned by my mistakes and got them training, feeding and exercising pretty good,
its all experience. |

im not sure how much a tea and a table spoon actually is, i use an egg cup which holds an ounce.....i usually give 11 birds 5 ounce after their morning exercise, then approx 9 and a quarter ounce after their evening fly.........they gat one and a quarter ounce each per day altogeather. |

| for 30 ybs i feed 10 o/z in the morning 7.30 and then i feed 28 o/z in the evening 5.30 so they get about an ounce and a quarter a day but the morning feed is gerry plus only and the evening is a yb mix |

| before i started training i exercised and fed once a day, in the morning i would let them out and they would do 2 hours flying, then i would get them in and feed their full amount and that would beit for the day untill the next day.........once i started training it had to alter to twice a day but it took me a while to get them used to it. |

| what is it we actually train our ybs for ? it cant be to teach them the way home can it .......and the time taken to fly 25 miles is approx half an hour, but at one point my ybs were exercising and ranging for over 2 hours, so whats of more benefit to them.....? |
