stb wind up....

are stb wind ups still any good ? bid on a quartz last week but it went for silly money(i bid a silly price anyway...lol) now theres one on ebay which is running out tommorrw dinner, im not wanting to pay a lot for a clock so thats why im just after an stb (just incase i pack in again....lol)

hiya david they seem ok as clocks go, ive never owned one as had t3s before i got ets , the only problem i have found was a clock strike they go be a little sensitive and strike before time but i suppose you get use to them

hi darren, thanks for your reply......we had a quartz years ago and it was ok at the time, the club ill be racing in dont allow ets so i cant have one of those.....i think the t3 is a good clock but like i say i dont really want to spend a lot on a clock at the moment just incase i dont stick at racing, but if i do ill buy a t3 maybe next season (out of my winnings........ )

only cheap as well darren...... lives 10 mins from me so no postage too worth a bid i suppose.....

yes it is really and next year if you decide to buy a t3 youll get your money back

Best thing to do david is buy it for the cheap cost then if you do decide to pack in the sport you have not over spent and lot a lot of money

hi don, thats what i thought, not that id pack in keeping pigeons but no point buying expensive clocks at first when ill only be racing ybs to start with......

didnt buy the stb on ebay today, thought it went a bit too much for a wind up........£36 what do others think ?

are you serious ken ? an stb wind up for 36 pound ? the man said he last used it in 2007..... i bid £69 for a red stb last week but it went for £71, thought i had bid a bit too much as well.....especially when a t3 went for £77 the day before.

Just keep an eye on prices

i use a thimbless t3 now but i have still got my old stb wind up its been a good clock and keeping it as a spare incase anything go wrong with the t3
