would have thought so don, going to send off to rpra this week for my rings.......rather do it this way than order them from the club, even tho they would be a bit cheaper. when i got this years 09 rings through the door i had them before the club members........

hopefully don, if i can breed a decent team of ybs and get them on the dark it should give me a decent start........i know not all of the other members fly dark, so are still using natural for the ybs so hopefully i shouldnt be too far down the sheet. as long as they are trying and maybe getting a card or two ill be happy for my first yb season back.

im the same looking for cheap ets as all loft in me club have them and i have a stb wich was gifed and was looking for a cheap ets system and found this one was really thinking about it even me grt gran offerd to buy it but been informed it wont be any good so look like im useing stb ...... ere is a link

i dont know anything about ets phil but im sure some of our members who use them will advise you on them......

phil first of all you will need to find out what system you club is using ,then you will have to get the same system , we use the unikon which i find is a really good system seems to be the most popular system,

might be worth waiting a season or two first, as pigeon racing is expensive ,as you will soon find out

trouble is if his club is all ets they wont be able to cater for him as they wont have the club goods such as rubbers, clock rolls,registers etc

i know what you are saying ian but its the same arguement you are forcing a man to buy an expensive set up so that he can race his birds and we know how costly it can be.so if a young lad say wanted to start really we are chasing them away from the sport with to many costs and its hard enough getting people into the sport.there must be some other way to help them when first starting
