The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

I have always flown natural, I know widowhood or roundabout is better but I prefer seeing the birds build there nests, young uns in pan etc to keeping the hens locked up, I rarely get any success but I love this sport irrespective, anyone had any real success flying natural.

well about 30 years ago my dad and i did real well but not these days i haveing to go with the widdowhood next season

hi paul, still read in the weeklys that fanciers are still having success on natural.......maybe natural birds would fly better at distance racing ??? when i get round to racing obs i think it would have to be widowhood, partly because i think it is easier to race on widowhood than natural.
