| need to work out how im going to darken the yb section before the babies go in as i dont want to be hamering and banging with them in it..... |

| hi showgirl, the idea is to get the ybs to moult in time for racing by simulating the hours of winter so they will be like yearlings by the time they race which will enable them to complete the yb program......just a quickand simple explanation and im sure others will ellaberate more on it.... |

| The way i would do it would be as soon as they are feeding and taking water then darken them |

| It does not after be Dark as Dark can be, but make sure they can still get to the water fountain |

| yes you are right david,when i first done it i made it pitch black,could see a think.somebody told me natural darkness is not like that so i lightened it up a bit and it much better |

| yes ray, they will need to see the drinkers etc........its things like this that i wouldnt remember to take in to account if it wasnt for the info from our members, just need to work out how im going to darken the loft..... |
