The Queen is old hat mate.
She will do nothing for pigeon racing, as she is also the patron of the RSPB.
It's all a farce mate, and the only way to protect our birds is to do it ourselves, our money is only going to protect the RPRA loft because it's getting plagued by hawks.
We need to get fanciers in power for their representation and take control of their own fate.

the queen will never give pigeons a second thought, the person in the royals who started with pigeons will have been 100 year+ ago and they have just remained ever since as the royal loft, probably some money making allowance somewhere along the line for her........emagine her at 6 in the morning.

One must ask oneself, what has our patron ever done for pigeon racing. Ok the royal loft has donated pigeons to various charity sales and a picture painted by Pollyanna Pickering of the Queens favourite pigeon.
TBH, we don't need a patron if we drop the Royal bit.
It's all crap, just to make it sound good.

one of the local lads will be on radio nottingham tomos morning between 9.40 and 10am putting his views to people about what the hawks do

i know i have bad eyesight but are there 2 pigeon rings in there,looks like one blue and one yellow one

yes ray, they have been there for weeks.............

theres also an ets ring somewhere amoung the gravel too.
