Nottingham nestcam.....

its just killed something else now, think its a pigeon, awful

that's some ones blue bar getting supper time for Nottingham killers.
some ones stock pigeon no ets ring.
had a better look at the ring and it was a young bird not a stock bird.
it feed its young and had a feed itself. then cleared off with the carcass.
sorry for the boys around that nest.

that pair of birds are hitting anything in and around notts i even check the little shites are on the ledge before i turn the y/b out they piss me off

did not even finish the bird. just eat what thy wonted and flue off with the rest of the pigeon.
thy no there are more to get.

If you believe the naturalists perigrines kill to eat and no more...however We know different I ran into a perigrine once while training the old birds, it hit a bird to the ground which was cut to shreads, then chopped the head off my blue yearling hen in flight, I found the body on the road but not the head, then drove the rest into the trees, just before taking another killed it then dropped it and flew off.
Was a bit of fun for the perigrine as it never carried any off to eat, and that is the truth my mate chris who used to fly was with me at the time, this was a lot of years ago ironicly before we had real perigrine troubles like now.
I have hated them ever since as it left us almost traumatised and I would kill them all if I had my way, bring back DDT.

did the same as before had its fill and flew off with what was left.

How old are the babies in the nest Cam?
At What age will they leave the nest?
About the same age as Pigeons?

ats 2 days I have been on to there nest site for a 20 minuets at a time.
and that's 2 pigeons I seen in 2 days .
if thy take one pigeon a day that's 7 a week. must be nightmare for the boys round there.
and if the people that have to do with that nest site went and had a look in it.
thy wood say WE CANT SEE ANY PIGEON RINGS IN HERE.

is that a blue or a green ring i can see in the nest........?

Blue I think david, thought after last nights downpour one or more of the young uns had died but doesnt look like it, heres hoping

i know one drowned last year paul, then the other dissapeared for some strange reason, if i`m not mistaken........

thats 2 with rings on today, the young un's just downed the leg complete with metal ring, hope it chokes it

they just had breakfast nest is full of white feathers now they gone off again

so till they back ill keep mine in

they have moved the cameras you can only see the nest now and not the bird coming in with its kill I wonder what thats all about?

agree David that's crazy them birds just plonked on that roof top in the middle of a city would they not of brought them out to the woodlands and let them chase the rabbits or something I would hate to have them around me!!

yes me too joe, lucky`ly graham uses his head and keeps his eye on them when hes due to let he`s pigeons out.........

the bop has just caught a blue un, looks in good condition so think its a racer, awful again, feel sorry for the lads who keep pigeons there, must be a nightmare
