changing the subject have put salt blocks in lofts let you know what the outcome is in few days

the pink ones are cherry flavour and have iodine in them plus other things cant remember what now

Very Happy ok cool, I might go get some today then, cant do much halm minerals are always good. I have found usually anything thats good for horses is good for the birds.

you can get sheep and cattle blocks also..the cattle and sheep ones havemolasses in them but are more like licks.

I'm glad your all pleased with the tip, it wont win you races, but it will give your youngsters a better start, and to answer rudderfelt, I think the droppings are better because the birds can utilise the food better, I'm no scientist but I can see it works, and all this wet feeders talk, I'm convinced you wont get them.

As regards using different colour picks, if you going to do this I would put a plain salt only in as well, as this is the stuff that does the job (Salt)
