| I have looked up old posts on brewers yeast but not got the answers i was looking for. What does it do for your pigeons and when would you give it in your feed programme. I have been told to give it after a race to help clean them out and told to give before a race to help give them a boost surely both cant be right! |

| hi jason, i think brewers yeast has vitamin B1 in it, i could be wrong but im sure its something like that. as for cleaning them out i wouldnt think it would, ive been told by our members bicarb or epsoms is best to clean them out incase they picked anything up out of the baskets.......ive heard fanciers put it on the corn but im sure members who are more experienced than me will give better advise. |

Brewers yeast is best feed on corn during the week but not as an add to clean them out at all it does the opposite it helps the pigeons I will put my neck on the line here for me the best thing after the race, there should be honey and lemon when they return us this mix for there first drink on return But to clean them out use epsom salts that will help clean them out but use it in the water for there evening drink the shit will be a bit runny in the morning but they can go back on clean water sunday morning not sure the amount now but would say one tea spoon per fountain of water JMO all the best |
