Was reading something frank tasker had posted on a site, about brewers yeast, apparently it doesn't continue developing in their bodies, means it wont feed any bacteria.

I use Gem The Matrix and that has loads of things in it, and it includes Brewers Yeast......so thats how mine get it. not sure how else they get vitamin b apart from the yeast as i'm certain corn doesn't contain it.

i use it alex, ive used it for the last couple of years and think its decent stuff..........if/when i run out on the odd occasion my birds wont touch the ordinary grit because they must like the aniseed in the matrix, and as you say, its got all sorts of things in in.

i dont think brewers yeast is the cause of yeat infection.to reduce the yeat infection in birds i use natural yogurt.not that my birds have yeast infection but i buy a large tub of natural yogurt once a month and mix it through the corn.

deont think so.just a little supplement to keep them healthy.suppose their is lots of things to try but in the end ist what works for you that matters.ive tried lots of things but at the end of the day keeping the birds to a bare minimum is always the best.

i know its been used when racing birds come back which are run down,i gave brewers yeat to all six of my show racers a couple of day after i got them and now their poops are looking normal.they were a bit stressed out and bright green in the cardboard boxes and in the individual pens i put them in.i will keep them in the pens until i feel they are ready to be intoduced to the rest of the birds.
