Not for everyone Hal but I have used them for many years. Chicken layer pellets have been my main ones etc here at anything up to 20 % depending on the time of year. In fact I would not be without them in the breeding season. |

| I use gem pellets breeding, cant say there is any difference with the yougsters but they are all health this year and last, where when I didn't use them I always had 1 or 2 scrawny babies I had to kill.
But I use versalaga imunity plus, carrot and the herbal pellets every morning for the youngsters till the end of racing, not sure if they are any good but cant be bad me thinks.
Saves me fussing about with carrots and lettuce for them, although they do like a lettuce to munch on..lol |

| used pellets years ago and they reared nice fat ybs, used some chicken pellets last season and the loft stunck like a chicken shed....think I added too many, altho I wouldn't say the ybs were any better on that occasion
this season I used gem breeding mix which halready has a % of pellets in it, and I was happy with the ybs reared on it........ |
