hi butch are they those pink ones ? if so ive used them in the past every day when feeding ybs in the nest, I think at first they need to get used to eating them so just add a few to the other corn to start with then gradually increase them to around 20% (ish) but that's just my opinion, other members might be able to advise better who use them now.

I gave the pellets to the parents when rearing ybs......most recently ive used the g10 pellets or the gem breeding mix which has g10 pellets in it.

I think most pellets are more or less the same, chicken layer pellets are ok too and a lot cheaper than the g10/ boss pellets......

I think they usually need to get used to them gradually George, unless they are used to being fed them.........

feed the pellet all the time if you wont with the corn but i found that the young birds droppings are watery in the nest and they drink more water the youngsters came on well
