The good & the bad !!!.

Drove into the club last night, & some A******e had pinched my normal parking spot etc & I had to walk a mile with my baskets to get to the club . When I got there Barbarcue Pete had the barbie going outside with enough sausages to feed the Manchester United fan club clan & for a moment in time I thought it was all for me until I walked into the rooms & was confronted, by a mass of kids & their parents from the local scout group etc. They had all been invited down to spend a night at the club, just to see what happens there in the hope we may pick a few new flyers to replace Barbarcue Pete & the likes of myself when we all fall of the perch . All in all, one great night & it all brought back how I felt as a young lad just busting with energy & joy about life in general. Now !!! that was the good part The bad part is     I let my C & D team out for a fly while basketing my Kaniva chumps & when I left for the club on dark all they had to find there way home was the full moon which was glowing & unfortunately in the night the change has come through & the wind is that strong, the house is shaking as I sit here at 4 o'clock in the morning & by chance they were the team I had for our Sunday Race here, & so I wait with baited breath, just to see what I have when the sun comes up (hopefully) in about 3 hrs time.
