david when i first started i got stock from skinning grove where some good fliers are but as the years have gone by i have filtered them out as they wouldnt compete in our club i have bought some off a top flier in our fed and replaced the stock i now put winners in stock loft and pair best to best just starting to get a good a good team together now

how many years do you think it takes to get established and have a good team of birds ? do you have any thoughts on eyesign ian, do you consider it when pairing up ?

no dont look at eyesign and time you cant put on depends on the fancier and a lot of luck of picking the right birds from the off , all i can say david is try and get pigeons from somebody who is doing it in your area and you,ll not go far wrong

would they want someone they are going to compete against having their bloodlines ? ive often seen birds for sale and they state that it has bred this and that and bred winners, but i wouldnt sell good pigeons that had won or bred winners.... what would be the best birds to buy do you think, birds off a flyer who wins himself...or birds off a flyer who has bred birds to win for other people ? or is it basically the same thing ?

If you are going to buy the, best thing for me is to buy a round of late breds of the winning team of pigeons sometimes you can get the eggs which the widowhood team are sitting for next to nothing but you will not know what they are from

all fanciers have their own ideas on how to manage their pigeons so if we dissagree with each other thats ok and maybe if thats the case we can give the reason why we dont think the same....but sometimes we can hear a bit of advise of someone and that could be the missing piece of the jigsaw that we needed to make us a winner..... lets keep our opinions coming.....
