| I took this picture yesterday morning - mainly to enable me to count the birds. I am still not very good at counting birds when they are flying. I think there are 21 altogether - we have 22 second rounders, but one is still a bit unsure about its capabilities to fly. It will only fly around the loft right now, but give it time, it will get up with the rest. I know one can't tell a great deal from this image, but they all seem to be coming on well, eating well, and this lot love to get as high as they can. I have never known any group of pigeons that seem to enjoy flying as high as these lot do. Sometimes you can only see them when they turn and the sun flashes on the underneath of their wings. For me, this is one of the really enjoyable things about bringing up young birds. Any tips on how to count a kit of birds when they are flying? All the best Phil |

| We have had a few hawk attacks when the birds are flying out. That is why I count them in the air.
Just my stupid thing I guess.
