Always been rather amazed here Rom you with your population there have so few pigeon flyers etc "Strange".

It is just weird really. All this countryside ect.you would not believe what people will do for their chickens back yard chickens are a huge thing now. I've had chickens before, and I will get them again but it's crazy out there.

sure is daunting knack. Jenner came over to give me some money for pigeon feed. He made me feel better. Said I've got natural management skills I've decided to breed two 20ish yb teams. I've got to get the race loft built asap.
I see most of those races, that it will be hard to train on a line. The western open out of Winnemucca.....forget it. I would have to drive to Boise Idaho just to train even close on a line! I'll be happy to race the young bird races, but the Mrs., may drive them to a few basketings for me.

Keep sweet with your other half Rom I would suggest worth gold in the long run make her a partner as such & tell her if she is good there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow type of thing on race day if she wins    . Now, the tossing bit Dont fret if you cannot toss on line there I would suggest, toss where it's most conveniant for you for starters. I know flyers here "Good flyers" that never toss on line because of their position. The secret is to have your birds roaming the country side far & wide for the enjoyment factor     as they will  soon learn whats out there so to speak .

Sure enough knack. Smetana has different flying conditions for sure. I spent sme time studying topography. I like David's website alot.

True. We will just keep it a secret here Rom between us 2 etc that short to long in your club there is a wee 100 odd miles as such . Wouldn't want any one here having night mares .

In the club here, I am 40 miles longer than the next guy. In the Fed probably 60 or so longer. I do not worry about it. Right pigeon on the right day will do it.

Suppose once you get the first yb race out the way its plain sailing...well maybe less of a shock to the system

Just think Iraq Rom if your like most of us in this pigeon caper etc sh*te will happen & at times in a BIG BIG way but always best to stagger back up again, some how & just keep going   .
