Different strokes. Empty
PostSubject: Different strokes.    Different strokes. EmptyTue Apr 03, 2018 2:09 am

Young birds out this morning. Not in by noon left the two stragglers out. They trapped much later. So all safe and sound.
Noon let the 2 year olds and up out. Flew for over 2 hours, then most went in and the sitting cocks came out. Couple of hours flying. New loft to half of them. One 2 year old hen, good flier as yearling, was out to almost dark. She wanted in the yearling loft. Finally let her in. If she is that determined to home to that loft and that makes her happy so be it. She may reward me. So tomorrow will be interesting. Older ones go out again as do the yearlings. Have enough room in both lofts to accomodate them all easily. They want to switch lofts they can. Get the fighting that will occur and bickering out of the way now. 3 lofts are slated for demolition anyway at years end. So many birds if left will be eliminated. Pigeons, I beleive, home to their own small space above all else. So will do it that way.
