only one thing i would like to say re the points system, if a bird won two firsts and had 20 points compared to a bird with two thirds and a 5th and had 22 points......which deserves to be the best bird ? just a thought......

But david does have a point with the rating of the young birds

well like you say 10 points for a win then down to 7 for second and 5 for third and so forth.maybe bosus points for topping the federation or something.going on about the prize ian it was supposed to be a photo of the best bird for the winner and the breeder.count me out if money is involved because at the end of the day it is only a bit of fun between us on here and bring prize money into it will end up in fall outs like we already see in pigeon racing

that what its all about the fun factor open to all ideas tho we dont want people falling out over money

whenever money is involved people fall out, the exchange is meant to be for a bit of fun so we dont need to make it anything more.....
one other thing i would like to point out is what are we deciding the best bird will be, the best single perfomance or the best overall bird during the y6b season......? i think before we make any decissions we need to make this clear....
unless we get a points system we are all happy with i see the only other alternative would be for each member to submit the seasons performance by their exchange bird/s and then for them to be voted on against the other exchange birds to decide which bird has either flown the best over the season or put up the best single performance.....(which will have to be decided)
also if the vote system was used does this mean only members involved in the exchange can vote....or all members of the site ?

i think unless we get something sorted out which is uncomplicated and fair this subject is going to turn into a big debate and cause more problems than its worth.........

what ever is decided iam easy either waylets not get too serious its only a bit of fun

just do the points thing over the yb racing and that will do,the winner gets their winning bird put on here for everyone to see because it does,nt seem like sue is going to do it anymore,so i suggest what i said eariler 10 for a win,7 for second 5 for third and then one point after that,or something like that but lets get it sorted as soon as possible

i think that we should take into account the opinions of all the members who are in the exchange, so far there has only been about four of us to make any coment.......if we dont hear their views it will have to be decided by the ones who give their input .

thats not really fair ian as people has diverant amount of lads in there club so it would have to be a diverant system
