| have read that if you have a good cock, the best way to reproduce it is to pair to his daughter....and then pair to the daughter of them. this will give you near the same bird...or so they say ??? |

| David if you have a pigeon which is low in it's self from being out a few days
For me i would put the pigeon in a basket and give it a worm and coccidiosis tablet and just watch the pigeon for 2 to 3 days just to make sure the pigeon is ok to go into the loft without passing anything onto the other pigeons in the loft |

| Remember watch a film by Rob Adams called the Up North Combine and there was a part which visited Louella Lofts showing you Parkside Superman and Michael even says to keep the blood, Parkside Superman would be paired to his own daughters to help maintain his blood lines |

| Pairing up close has advantages, and disadvantages, the good genes get concentrated , but sometimes bad genes also, in other words, some babies would be exellent, while others would be worth nothing. I know a fancier that have paired up mother son x 6 times , to get the same type as the mother, the last baby have webs between the toes, as of all the inbreeding. He told me he have big plans for the webed footed hen. Didnt we all have our strategies? that was my thought. |
