Injured Young bird

Bit confused with one of my injured team, cant feel a break but the log has swollen up terribly.

Any tips? If cant think of anything the ring will have to come off tonight which would be a shame as sire is a grandson of red barcelona and vale cahors paired to North road championship club winner - was looking forward to racing the young from them Mad

try and put it in some ice water it should stop it swelling more hold it there for about 10 mins

don t cut ring off to quick***pigeons heal very quick

totally agree I would only cut ring off if the leg was in danger of falling off with the swelling, good advice is the ice sit with bird on your lap for an hour when watching tv and sandwich the leg bettween 2 bags of frozen peas...or any frozen veg...lol

tried the leg again but it just hasnt worked so ring has come off tonight im afraid as pigeon was struggling to much and leg was getting worse.

last time out for my babies before 1st race and another smashed up badly so its season has finished before it has started! loose skin but otherwise nothing to stitch so popped to work and collected a bandage and antyiseptic cream and see if it can heal itself Mad
