John my number 1 pair are now 8 years old they have bred 17 x 1st so to keep the blood i have inbred these will go back into stock to keep that blood line strong, just like ur uncle and u have done ur self and if i can still produce pigeons of the likes of stormqueen 15years down the line then i would be happy Ken

Ian to get back to the original line u need to put brother and sister together, these will be for stock only you then cross them back into the family to keep the line going and these are the ones u race Ken

Dave to get back to the original put brother to sister, this will give u back the line to cross back into the family next year, dont race the offspring of the brother sister pairing but put them straight to stock Ken

Does anyone remember the "Up North Combine" film on channel 4 in the 1980's with Rod Adams They are at Louella's and Micheal has got Parkside Superman in his hand showing the fanciers, and he says when being filmed with this fanciers He has been paired to his own daughters to keep his blood strong just the same with brother and sister just stronger

Don i dont think u will convince them , that it is the only way to keep the bloodline strong, most of the big studs breed this way other wise they would soon dilute the lines Ken

The thing to remember with breeding is the genetics, youngsters have 25% father,25% mother, and 50% will be unique. So brother and sister mating will always have this. That means you can only ever be 50% pure from original characteristics, so that 50 % uniqueness could be good or bad.
