tell the truth

how many will hold there hand up, who have moved lofts or even areas to be in a better geografical position with there birds?. 

not me edgie, my birds are in the garden...... 

I move from where I used to have the birds about 4/5 miles away and when we got our states house I got permission to have them where I am now but it wasn't a good move really as im way out of line

Your correct edgie, you look at all the top fanciers within our great sport they all go to the positions which can help them win, it has to be atleast 85/90% of top fanciers who are in the correct loft location/ position

But there are also 15/10% of fanciers who win but have to work that little bit harder to win

That is the type of fancier who i would buy from JMO

Never not me   When I was a junior flyer (Teenager) I flew in the longest club in the Federation here by chance, my back door was the beach at that time. Mum won a house in a contest etc & we moved out into the bush (20 miles north) Got married    & moved further north, to my little valley  . Best move I ever made   & I will be here till the day I die. Funny thing thou !!!! over time the boundary has gone from 20 miles where I'm to over 50 miles etc now. Plenty of land around my area    but all the champs ?????? for some strange reason go south, to sit on the boundry. So they have the wind up there backside type of thing, in most of the races.
Strange as it is    when I'm looking for good pigeons, I look to the flyers above me, because I know, they are the real pigeon men.

Ive no choice, gotta move because apart from other problems I'm outside all local club boundaries here.

I haven't in fact ive put my self in a bad  position.   I move,d 3 years ago too this house.  which I used too live on the east off elgin. but now am in the west off elgin.   so now my birds have too fly over the whole of elgin , 1. an 1/2 miles more.   atb stan

in 1997 i moved from west yorkshire with my wife and 2 boys
to live near my wifes parents in somerset south west england a distance of 250 miles not to race pigeons but for a better life for my family as its near the grandparents and the coast . but its a really good place to fly pigeons in the big nationals if you have the se winds and the right birds ive scored a few times in the national flying club and a few big clubs round here but not constantly .

Ray i know lads who have moved due to their club disbanding  and reforming to keep them out    thats life   sean

Its all about position and the line of flight but this is happening all over mate
