Yes there are bigger teams to race against

There are a lot more money to race for with young birds today

Totally agree with Ian you can win as a small team flyer

David if you have a small team it will be easier to keep them healthy

Also you can see which pigeon is coming into form better than your other pigeons as you have a small amount of pigeons to look after

Must say what is easier looking after 30 to 040 pigeons max compaired to having a large team of 70 to 100 pigeons

Having a large amount means sending pigeons and hoping to find a champion were with a small team you can see which pigeons are fit and which are not

im setting her on painting the loft tommorrow if its fine.........(she doesnt know it yet though)

i would make room in the loft first as you may be sleeping in the loft from then on

yeah, never thought of that.... better not make it too nice, she might get ideas of sending me in there......

no seriously though, if its fine im going to start painting tommorrow, i sanded part of it down to get the flaky paint off it so ill do a bit at a time each day.....i was going to do it with that red fence pain type stuff but its too hard getting the old paint off so ill do it green wood stain/paint which will colour it and make it tidier.

What ever makes the loft look better is good

yes, i think it will look a lot tidier when its done...plus i will feel better with the loft looking better.

It is not the loft that wins races it's the pigeons but i must say i like to see a nice loft also

sometimes it gets me down with it being scruffy...but i know what you mean, and your right its not the loft that wins races....

But it is nice to have a nice loft and when people come round they can see you making an effort

yes, when pigeon men have been to my house its a bit embarasing, but they dont seem to think anything of it....

They are coming to see your pigeons not the loft

yes i think your right, when i went to fanciers loft a few weeks ago i never really took any notice of the loft and was just intereted in the birds he was showing me....

But i think if you have a nice loft it's pease at mind for yourself
