The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

do young birds need to exercise twice a day ? is it just as good to do 1 hour once a day compared to half hour twice a day...?
any thoughts ?

I reckon once a day is fine if they are seperated but if ybs are paired and sitting then twice per day so cocks and hens both get exercise

I have open loft 6 hours or more a day. Old and young together. Some cities have restricted times for the birds to fly, but usually between certain hours. I am out in the wide open country so does not affect me. But others with restricted flying time s do very well also. Do not think it matters.

Definately not David (fly twice a day) 1 hour is ok but 2 hours is better.
