also heard this, but some dont seem to know much about it yet so im going to ring club sec tommorrow morning to see if he knows anything about this.......hopefully it will be right and we can get rid of those horrible lugs, mind you will be awkward to remove now they are on the birds i would emagine.... |

| bleeding hell......youll take the leg off with it or your finger......... maybe thinking of trying to break them off and sand the rough bit off, then again i might just leave them as they will most likely be more trouble than they are worth trying to remove them... |

didnt think you were serious really ian..... but i do think they are better left alone unless someone comes up with a good way to do it, they are on now so best thing for me is to forget about the lugs......... |

| pete phoned rpra 3 weeks ago asking if he could remove them and was told no as the rings will be classed as tampering and void to race? but perhaps theyve had so many complain that they may have decided to allow this??? me personally i like them as they seem to be just the same size as having an ets ring with the chip in them the reason i like them i put colour clip rings on mine and pete has a different colour so last year our birds had 3 rings on, this year we only need 2 (less weight) but can see the point of those that dont have ets |

| Our club has over ordered on rings this year, not sure why? Im sure we could sell them on to fanciers if they wanted conventional rings..all wHU...I could buy them off the club not to break any rules and give them to members just pay postage, you just transfer them as if you bought a youngster from me? |
