| For me it's has a racing type of eye with no depth
A lot of fanciers would say it's a dish type of eye |

| OK. Aarden, hence feathers on legs. No sun for pic. As you all are aware, eye sign selection is not my thing. It is interesting is all. Eyes of the older birds are here because they have performed to my satisfaction. I do have 2 year olds and yearlings never raced. They will race this year. So instead of after the fact, how about before the fact? Selection? Much more credible! I intend to put up a site with eye pics of the non raced birds and any one can comment on the perceived performance. Short long whatever. Any takers? Eye pics will not be up for a while, no sun here yet. |

| I have to admit I never use eye sign for racing ability, I have failed in the past at it and cannot see any connection between racing ability and the eyes. That is the case for about 98% of eyes, there are however some which do show ability and if you have any of them I will see it, so put them on and I will give it a go.
I could tell you which ones you shouldn't race and they should be in the breeding loft instead. But as for racing I don't think the man who can do it accurately has been born yet.
The eye above feather legs...in my opinion has a good eye with a very well constructed eye sign band, The eye is a typical racing eye which as I have said before doesn't tell much but I would say that the presence of black would suggest its more for distance.? |

3 Now I stick my neck on the chopping board this is a typical Jan Arden / Ko Nipius type of eyes which as we all know are long distance origin pigeons And this eye I would say can also do the distance but I would say pair it with the violet eyed pigeon would be interesting to see how the youngsters would turn out BUT LIKE I HAVE ALREADY SAID " I KNOW NOTHING" THIS IS JMO |

| I lightened the eye with Fastone image viewer. Free download. The Ko Nipius type eye is a red pied. Oude Vos lines, Jannsen. All are yearlings. |

Never seen an eye like that before this is new to me I wonder how this could have happened could it be caused by lack of vitamins during breeding and the eye not forming correctly JMO |
