| Just curious. What time do you start in the morning with your birds summer and winter..
We try to let our first lot out at about 6.30 to 6.40 in the summer. .in the winter about 8 to 8.30...We go twice a day as well |

| Most seem about the 7 mark..I remember in our old allotments there used to be a battle to see who could get them out first so they could have the field to themselves so to speak.they used to start at first light, so we just waited and got the field to ourselves as they all had finI shed by the time we got there lol |

many years ago I thought I was doing the right thing as a so called friend , moved house and had nowhere to put his birds, I loaned him a shed and aviary for the winter , then let him have one of my allotments to put his lofts in , that season I went down the garden to give my birds exercise , he appeard at the fence and asked me what I was doing ,he said he was flying his widowhood cocks out at the time ,and told me I should not be letting my birds out, whilst his were flying , I told him to get used to it as there was several lofts within 50 yds , he then stuck his kneck out and told me to get them down and in imeadiatly , I told him to feck off arse hole and regarding the spaire loft he used for the winter it was never claeand out and that's how he left it , never even said thanks |

| I am always up at 05:45 hrs to 6 o'clock.
In the summer I open the birds up at that time. Then we have breakfast.
By 07:45 hrs, we have finished breakfast and we go and do the birds - let out any that have exercise like young birds (remember we had NO O/Bs this year, except our stock birds that don't go out, but have their own aviary).
Feed Stock birds and clean out.
Then I/we get on with any jobs that need to be done - or that I want to get done. Since we knew we were having to be in frogland for a while longer - the list of things that we want to do are endless!
At 16:00 hrs - I make up the birds afternoon feed. Then we have a cup of tea. Around 17:00 hrs it all starts again.
We are normally finished by 18:30 - 18:45 hours.
Next year will be very different though.
