got 3 ybs and 3 blank eggs  still got 6 eggs

checked mine earlier, i think theres just one pair not laid ........so happy with that, i just hope people will be buying them this year with all the uncertainty going on .

what i did read you may not be able to fly your birds out which would be a problem for ybs

A lot of their auction pigeons never received a bid George and there were some bargains amongst them.

Would have been tempted myself if still racing.

I only went to 2 Blackpool auctions and buyers were staying clear of grandchildren of winners, some not even getting a bid, but bidding on children and obviously the winners themselves. Even them not making a fortune, some under £100.

Few years ago anything with feathers at Blackpool would be starting at £100. People coming to their senses hopefully?

i don't race as you know Colin but i now only buy raced birds

RPRA Financial Report and Annual General Meeting Agenda in the BHW this week.

Slight signs of some beginning to see the light (50 years too late)

Apparently a big drop in subscriptions and licences, not a very good sign.

What is left of the OLD BRIGADE will still attempt to stop openness in the RPRA affairs.

Just hope they have not corrupted the new boys/girls/them/they/who.

The RPRA make it as complicated as possible to know the full facts of membership George.

There will be a number who do not keep pigeons, some just interested in OL races.
Others so they can be on the Council and other bodies.

All I can go by is the subscriptions and licenses figures.and an apparent difference from last previous year and the latest year, difference of around £40,000, maybe an explanation but I cannot think of on

no misty think i'm wrong  i was looking at the end figure  2022 and 2023

Just cannot understand why the membership numbers are not included at some point, in an annual report.

Full flying members, individual members etc;

See the OL made a profit of £37,734 and the yearling £8,952

Wonder how much was saved, corn from losses.

Over all not a very good situation regarding membership.

Cannot understand it myself George.

Maybe old age and loss of ability but did accounts for club numerous times.

If I wanted to know how many members the club had and all paid up, all I would do is divide the income for by the cost of a subscription.

Maybe missed something but cannot think what.

just been reading as i understand it you cannot move pigeons in or out of the 3 and 10 ml zone not as gifts or sell is that correct in my part it's the olr and gift birds

Looking at the map it has not changed much.

South East corner appears worst affected.

Have no idea how long it took previous outbreaks to be dealt with but hope this one is before racing starts.

thats old school, logic type thinking 'there etc Misty Bean counter types of today I'm        enjoy making things more complicated than  required I suggest, to simply keep normal folk in the dark scenario as such.
