| no i dont george, quite a while i would think, probably nearly ready to hatch .....i never write the dates down of when the eggs are laid, only when they hatch . |

| i never usually bother george, if they hatch they hatch, if they dont they dont ....
must say ive had quite a few eggs not hatching this year, probably more than other years .... |

| plans now are not to hatch any more this year, once these ybs are gone im separating them .... |

| going by the photos numbers are very low so far, i'm not interested in the prize money more than happy to get them from the final and bring them home |

| i'm not sure if it was because she had a broken wing and was not able to cover 3 eggs 2 died in the shell this one hatched and is not from her it's from a dr ch hen i bought but would not nest just laid any were |

| i was going to keep one pair back for future breeding, but both the pairs that had eggs that i was going to choose from have gone cold and they have left them ....i`ll either choose from what i have or not bother keeping a couple this year . |

If you are going to keep them paired up David why not sit pot eggs. Keeps them happy and they know when the eggs are not going to hatch and do not develope soft food and moult better. Regards. |

| i do sometime put plastic eggs under them misty, but i dont like to do it too often, as i think it can contribute to sour crop .......as you know pigeons only start to produce milk a few days before the eggs are due to hatch, and if they are continually sitting plastic eggs i dont think its good for them .
i might let them sit plastic eggs for maybe 12 days, and then take them away before they start producing milk , and as you say it will keep them happy . |

| will be sorting out which ybs are ready to put on elimar at the end of the week, usually put them on around thursday to end sunday .... |
