| i found birds flew better early morning ,i am talking 6am then get them down and in with some groats and rest up and drink for an hour then i would basket for a toss ,but would only have about 10/12 tosses before first race and mainly to get them to split from a certain point otherwise they would follow the mob to far west and therefore poor results ,each to his own but birds definitely seem to exercise best early morning...after the toss they would rest up with a bath for the rest of the day but if no toss then exercise again in the evening but once they get amorous forget about them flying well around the loft in the evening especially |

| i'm just out of hospital after surgery so have some time off. Once I'm on the mend I'm taking the darkness blinds down 9:30am lightest feed at 10:00am then put them out at 11:00am, want them going at least an hour, I'll let you know how they go. My OB season might be just about over but see how it goes. |

Hope all went well at the hospital barnie. As far as I am concerned they do a great job. Being unwell knocks a lot of pleasure out of life. Just hope you are as fit as a fiddle for young bird racing. Regsrds. |
