Birds exercising

The last couple of days been putting the birds out for their usual afternoon spin and they've been really lethargic, weather has been quite warm but doesn't usually stop them flying for and hour, just the last couple of days been proper lazy gits, some are in a moult , but others are pretty good feather wise, any other members finding the same problem

I would say just about everybody's birds are the same this time of year

the ones moulting wont want to exercise much and will hold the others back

Best to separate them keep they in the loft and give them a warm bath every week

Keep them on a light feed and once fully moulted then let them out

Your pigeons will be sore with moulting so its best for them to stay in the loft
