| i was just thinking the other day i haven,t seen any lately , i let them out yesterday lunch time they had just landed when all of a suden they took off like jets as they gained height the peregrine took my little pied hen in mid air it took in the field next door at the far end as it landed it got bombarded by about 10 crows and even a buzzard tried attacking the hawk as i got closer it took of with the pigeon bastard things hope i don,t have to many i usaly have about 2-3 a year go missing but this is the first time ive ever seen it happen at close range . hey ho life goes on . |

| sorry to hear this kev, i know its gutting when this happens but once they have the bird theres very little can be done about it isnt there......... lets hope this is the only one it gets eh. |

| probably because your old birds are much more switched on and are on the look out all the time , yb have never probably seen one before till they get attacked by one . |
