| i use layers pellets david , cos the growers have antibiotics in them for black spot , so don,t use to many of them . you cant beat using beans and peas for the younsters mixed in with my best all round mix , thats what i do works for me . |

| probably was the layer pellets kev, i didnt actually know the proper name for them but just new they were something to do with poultry pellets............they were big rough things if i remember rightly but didnt half build the ybs up.
i have the vanroebys breeding mix this year and was just going to feed this without adding pellets maybe....? |

| Thats it David, dont want a big bag incase they dont like it, atleast with a smaller bag I can try them on it and havent wasted 40 pounds... think G10 is a similar price?
They are they only things i'd bother with, as they benefit the birds. Wouldnt bother with things that are supposed to give you a gain, as I know they are an absolute waste. Also I want to know that my birds CAN do it without them. |

| i bought the G10`s last year alex and i think for a 20/25 kg bag they were around 15 pound or so....im not certain but they wernt right expensive, altho i did end up with half a bag left over after breeding.
even with the G10`s i had to gradually introduce them into the corn so the birds would eat it..... |

| Ah thats not bad really, prices seem to be higher in this area but think its because theres no competition of suppliers One of the places has everything though, which is good so will have a look when we go next time. |

| Wanted to make sure first from others experiences but for that price they are worth a go, only way i will find out how my birds react is to try them out, will also try a small bag of hormoform, i know chris used it last year and said it was good. Has things in it that the birds need and cant get from the corn normally...will give the baby milk a go too. |

| introduce the pellets into the normal corn gradually alex, i think i added 1/3rd pellets at first and then gradually built it up to 50/50.......
if you add too much they wont eat it at first. |

| If you can find a local farmer they sometimes make pellets which can bring the cost down also but they are good and also homoform |
