Gordon !!!!!!! in many way's there are wiser men than me here, that could advise you etc into the finer points of feeding. I'm just old school & don't quite fit into the fancy ways that things are done now. But !!!!! Right or wrong here is a simple bit of advise, at least in my view. Breeding 35% protein, Moult 25% protein & racing 15% protein. Now !!!!! what have those basic theory's in feeding done for me one may ask here. "Not much" but for some strange reason & I've listened to all the theorys/crap that goes on at the start of the season over many years etc in differant clubs & guess what when I place my clock on the table at 500/600 miles normally to be read, there are empty seats everywhere that should have a bum on them etc & don't forget either, I race mainly young birds (under 12months old) & the joy & pleasure which they have given me I really could not explain to you in these type of races. *****
