| Never use anything like that.we just clean ours out daily..I know some that don't clean out just change the water and they prefer when they have slime around it..not for me but again are we too soft with our birds and have softened them up..there me even talking about heaters lol |

avidress is not a water sanitizer its a natural product that contains organic acids to a ph level that stops any cross contamination in the water also it keeps canker/cocci/bacteria levels down and is for use on a daily basis ,if you were to use Milton you would be sterilising your birds too its too strong to use in the water on a daily basis ....the ph in marks question tells me he wants something to use on a regular basis...surely we have moved on from bleach and Milton lads yeah some of the oldschool stuff is great but bleach and sterilising fluid virkons will kill all known germs good and bad why not use something that leaves the good bacteria alone and does not strip the system bare |

| people keep far too many pigeons make it easy for yourselves then these products work out quite cost effective I don't actually use many products 3 in all and a pellet which goes in the feed ...I don't work myself I am my wifes carer and trust me every penny counts but each to his own atb |

| That's right Darren, its the pH level I am interested in not the cleaning side as my bowl are washed out every day with hot water a pH level of. 4.5 is best for birds and help's to stop cross contamination as you have said |
