| mine have had 4x 8 miles or there abouts but tomorrow there in at 25 miles and fri and a couple next week its there first race a week on sat 69 miles . cos we are racing the east to west route im the back marker now the old birds i was the first drop . |

| keep um going out first david it takes the sting out there arses then take um training they soon get in the routine to trap when they come back as well |

| only had 4 chucks but been hit 3 times by percy lost 4 training got 5 hurt don't look good at this rate will get a few more trainers in first race 19th July sean |

| had the y/b out at 5.15 am all in for 6.25 then down the road we let um go in 4 groupes at 20 miles all home so happy days not many more left now

| glad to hear alls going well graham, I`ll be waking mine up soon for a flutter round the loft, then out for another 5 - 6 miler if weather is ok.......thinking maybe 2 or 3 at this distance then on to 12 miles.......ASAP |

| looks like its going to be another fine day so im off to the lofts get the y/b out then off training first race in a weeks time we got a race from saints today and another saturday 502 miles so gona get me tanning cream on and fill the fridge could be in for a long wait have a good day lads be lucky |

What type of distances will your birds be racing when they start, just curious?
Also what bloodlines strains are your birds
cheers hi stu, our first yb race is from Newark which is 56 miles to me, we have two from Newark and then progress further each week up until the coast which I think will probably be around just over 200 miles...not sure because ive never sent that far since I restarted...lol my birds are mainly janssen based with a few others dotted in, they will easily fly the channel, that's if I do my part properly |

| good luck daz , well ive waited all fri and sat for my bordeaux birds but up to now no luck they were 11 birds home on the day and what i can make out not very many more today , so i was down the loft this morn at 5am so i thought sod it i will let the yb out 7.30 am they came back i was crapping my self i thought i had lost the lot they have had a good fly though and i got them all back from there 20 plus mile chuck on fri morn . |

| just got the dreaded yb sickness 4 days b4 my first race so im afraid my ybs will be getting jumped in at 100mile cause im away for the 2nd race aswell .there well trained so hopefully it wont be to much of a problem |

| starving them mate. cleaning there crop, then slowly building them up on diat mix.ive got stuff in for emergency if the main infections flare up with stress i.e e coli canker but will try to let it run its cause |

| it was about 5 o clock sunday when one went missing stuart, I took them again yesterday around 1.30 and all home......will be taking them again soon when they come back from their exercise.
I think ponti is as far as mine will go this year for training as kim isn't doing it again.... |
