| They are coming along now nicely. That's when I know I have their diet spot on, when they fly high, because they are that full of energy they can't even stand still. That will make me happy when I see them all up and bunched together, then it will be time to go to work with them. |

| Give me YB any day, I think it's because you never lose the enthusiasm with youngbirds, although OB can be very rewarding, with the right team. |

| My YB are calm mate, I just love the buzz of working with them. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the challenge. |

| It's all about patience mate and control. They learn from you, you learn from them. I think sometimes, I spend too much time with them. But when I see the end result, it always seems to be worth the effort. |

| John, people snigger sometimes when I come out with my crackpot ideas, but done right, it's dynamite mate.
The husbandry is all the same mate, Sprint, Middle, Long distance. The only difference is , obviously the breed of pigeon and the feeding. I suppose old books are more in depth, than the newer ones. TBH mate I don't seem to derive any benefit from them. I have learned much from articles by Alan Wheeldon. I suppose at the end of the day, you will finally find and adapt a system to suit you. |
