Fanciers in general not bothered about anything or anyone being treated in an unacceptable manner, totally ignoring the Rules, just as long as I'm Alright Jack.

The one I attended had a useless fat Chaiman, did not know the Rules nor have a Rule book, no idea how to conduct a meeting, allowed defamitary and libleous
evidence not known prior to attending.

Should have sued, but was talked out of it by the then RP Editor and others.

Wish often that I should have done.

A CLIQUE have run the show for over 40 years including he culprits,

There is very little chance of our sport recovering to it's once great past.

So the choice now is to go jogging along for maybe a few years fanciers getting more and more frustrated by the lack of any leadership in dealing with the known problems and there will be more to come, or fanciers starting to get involved instead of sitting back whilst others ruin the sport.

Very soon the numbers will not support that needed to keep the sport afloat.

Will be interesting to see just exactly how many are flying members and how many making the decisions do not even have pigeons.

Think the coming season will answer a few questions.

Think you are right George, three new estates near here have gardens you could not keep a rabbit hutch in.

Allotments are all taken up mainly by gardeners.

Councils supposed to be insisting new developments have affordable housing, one just down the road has sign up, 3 and 4 bed houses, who can afford them, only those who buy for second homes or letting and they do not need gardens, so more houses built.

down one side of mine has 16 x6ft fence panels

the houses round my way have decent sized gardens, they are 95 years old......but the new builds have postage stamp size gardens, its all about cramming as many cheaply built houses onto the land as possible.

its all about money and profit ......

Same down here also now George I'm  typical type block here like mine was around 750 odd square metres back when. Today 250 odd square metres apparently by the speal is classed as a big block now to build your dream on, if you can somehow maybe afford such a thing.

Wonder if our new King will take an interest and become Patron.

Think the fact that our late Queen was Patron had an effect on some matters that would have been dealt with differently had she not been.

No doubt the sport needs a good hard kick up the backside if it is to survive in any meaningful purpose and the signs are not good.

general family matters more of a concern for him I suspect somehow David. Randy Andy & Harry & his mouthpiece Megham are taking up his time these days I suspect to be somehow worried about any pigeon concerns/matters    .

Much prefer our system to any other, the Commonweath Countries are also the most democratic.

Would not like to be like, Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, China etc; and a load of the likes of the Union Bosses running matters.

No doubt our own MPs need sorting out, the EU is apparently full of thieves and
the likes, bet a number of ours are on drugs and indulging in activities unbefitting.

Should be stringent health checks on the lot.

Just read more than several billion of drugs been confiscated from drug barons.

Who on earth is using them ?.

Agree our Democratic way in general, is run by a bunch of buffoons on average for the most part Misty I'm Names/parties may change with time & we always will find fault no-matter what I suspect but still in the end far better I suspect/suggest than Putin's way & the like I have no doubt, even with all its common everyday faults we all face.
