The wall appears a strange photograph.

If the people watching are the riff raff, they are not bad off wearing fur coats and dressed to the eyeballs.

In the 1940s there were miner's homes, some, back to back ones other semies
but none were slums, the miners wives kept their homes both inside and out in good condition, even the outside steps were scrubbed and then put colouring on.

It is not the housing that make slums but the residents.

Not a bad article in the BHW this week George Just My Thoughts.

Along with some photographs of past Champions, pages 30 and31.

Very interesting regarding seeing so many Champions.

The most interesting being, the only things regarding shape and size etc; is that no two are alike, they are all one offs, shape, size and everything else

In the first article it deals with mob flying, debatable point, and one I feel will be the ultimate ruination of the sport.

Maybe get back to when I was a kid and we sent a basket of our feathered friends on the local bus service to Doncaster, there was half a dozen of us about the same age, we would send two each and one would go with the pigeons.

Much more fun.

The worst part of our sport George, as in any other sport involving animals, very few make the grade and what to do with the others is a conundrum very few fanciers relish facing, me being one, I tried to limit the numbers by breeding only from the few that over the years produced the best., and rarely made any introductions.

But still had to reduce numbers.

Never been a happy bunny in that respect George.

Be very interesting to see how the propositions went at the AGM.

Under all the circumstances I would have thought a few propositions to reduce the whole of the RPRA set up would have been a good idea.
