| you have to give them the pellets so they can eat them, not keep them in a bin I have no trouble, mine eat them at anytime, even when they're full you should be paying around £12 a bag, they were more expensive last year but have now come down. |

| yes the g10s were £12 this year but the boss pellets were about £10 for a white plastic bucket which i found out later should have been around £4.50.....so he was charging double.
the best pellets we used were turkey growing/laying ones years ago but now i dont know where to get them from but these g10s seem to be popular by what ive heard and read and also hormoform is too ? but never used it..... |

| hi fred, no i feed after morning exercise and then approx mid afternoon........but when rearing ybs they have food infront of them all the time so the ybs never go hungry, i dont let the parents out to exercise much just incase they dont come in due to not being hungry and then they are at prey to cats, hawks etc..... |

| Hi David
This is just my opinion, I never leave food in front of my birds, for various reasons, no control, I think the parents don't feed them properly and you can get all sorts on the food, ie mouse piss or pigeon crap, I much prefer to feed them several times a day, that is before I go to work, dinnertime, and a couple of times in the evening before it gets dark, I know we've all got our own ways , but this is mine. |

| Yes you are right Fred never left food as this will attract mice during the night which can disturb the birds rest But the pigeons are the boss for a short period of time during breeding as they always have food in there crop for there youngsters |

| I know fanciers that have always kept birds hungry, and others who keep the bottom of the feeders full with barley they both fly equally well, so its horses of courses me thinks. |
